Kingdom mysteries_Part 1

Mystery! Webster dictionary: (noun, 1a), a religious truth that one can know only by revelation and cannot fully understand (1 b) any of the 15 events (as the Nativity, the Crucifixion, or the assumption) serving as a subject of the rosary. (2 a) something not understood or beyond understanding. Webster goes on to say mystery applies to what cannot be fully understood by reason or less strictly to whatever resists or defies explanation.

I started this post in January 2014 and here it is November 2014. In some ways that seems such a long time ago. Yet as I read the post "New Season" that I published in January, it's as though it was only yesterday. That is a mystery!

So I pick up from this point and place I was in as if there were  no seconds, minutes, hours, days or months having passed by. Whatever the circumstances, events or situations that I walked through between January and now, are seen as tools in the Father's hand. Tools he used to reveal to me something of kingdom mysteries.

To be continued...............

New Season

2014 New Year's Day setting sun!

Such a quiet, peaceful day! Hope this is a taste of what the year holds. There is a sense of this year being very different from the past three years, verifying to me that I have entered a new season in the Lord. In this quiet wonder of the moment I am so aware that all is well in Him and that my soul knows this. All that is in the past season(2011-2013) has had it purpose and has accomplished what He intended to accomplish within me and it is now time to move forward in Him. Philippians 3 is still what I call my north star and continues to shines so brilliantly. Pressing on to know Him!!!!

God's Perspective

The Father's perspective to
the deep is a must, simply
because the deep is Him, is of Him. Paul's prayer in Ephesians 3:14-21 is the prayer of the Holy Spirit, once again drawing those who have ears to hear, to come. Come to know Him who is the deep within. The door to the deep is open and is stirring. There is also a window from heaven that is open. The Father is revealing His thoughts and His ways to us.

Love's Invitation

What is the deep that we are being called, invited to come to? What depth of His love have we not known before? What vision of Him have we not yet seen or known as yet?

Ever so gently His still small voice speaks, "Come deeper into my rest".

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways" says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts". Isaiah 55:8-9

The deep beckons

The gentle stirrings of change continues. From the depths of His love He beckons us. Deep is calling unto deep (Psalms 42:7) The yearning is intense within, not just our yearning for God but His yearning for us. This yearning is intense yet ever so gentle, much like the flutter of a babe in the womb when it first begins to move. Are you aware of it's movement within? Can you hear it's still small voice calling you, beckoning you to come? Love's invitation has come, inviting you to come out into the deep. To come where you have not been before. To come and receive a vision of Him and of yourself in Him. To come and receive a new direction from Him and to receive the goals(purpose and plans) He has for us.

Gentle stirring of change

The season has run its course. Its' beauty is quietly fading away. Change is at work. Change, what is change? It is that which alters our life in some way however small or big it may be. Change is not a comfortable thing for human nature even when change is desired or simply a part of the cycle of life. Nevertheless change is coming and as it does what we once knew will begin to fade away.

Fear Not

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41: 10

No matter how dark it becomes or how troubled the times are, we who know Jesus do not need to be afraid. Always in Him there is hope and the rays of His light of hope shines upon us, rises up within us. He has promised us to never leave us or forsake us, that He is with us to the end. We have His word that tells us that His perfect love for us cast out all fear. We, like David may say, though I am afraid, yet will I trust Him. He is faithful and true and can be trusted. We choose to trust in Him, we choose to place our confidence in Him, we choose to hope and have confidence in Him, we choose to believe His word to us. We learn that He can be trusted. We learn to not depend upon ourselves or others but like a child we turn to Him. We cry out Abba Father and He moves all of heaven on our behalf through His Son Jesus according to His perfect and wonderful will. We do not always understand, but we trust because He has proven Himself faithful to us. So great a love He has for us. So amazing is His grace. So today, think about His love and think about His grace that is so sufficient for us. Christ in us the hope of glory. Let our eyes and ears be open to see and hear Him who is in us and know we are hid in Him. Know we are a new creation in Him. Let the Holy Spirit reassure our whole being that we are the children of God, we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Let our perspective be what His perspective is, setting our minds on things above and not on the things of this earth. We have the mind of Christ, so let us be renewed in the spirit of our minds as we present our bodies to Him as living sacrifices. This mind of the Spirit is life and soul peace. The light of His life within us shines through . The rays of hope anchor our souls. Be at peace, be not troubled, for He is for us, not against us. We are made overcomers in and through Him. We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. See and hear the Victor, He is in us. Grace to all, grace, grace to the mountain of human obstacles. Nothing is to difficult for our God and Father.
